I want all our classmates that have gone on before us to have a rose by their name in the profile list so I am adding this to all of them.  dc

I knew Bill from our days at Moore Jr. High playing ball. He was a good friend. In case you don't know, he started a successful publishing company which sold the map series 'The Roads of Texas'. It is today, still the best map available for Texas, Arkansas, Oklahoma, Colorado, and New Mexico. His wife continued the business until it was eventually sold to Mapsco. He died of brain cancer a number of years ago.

I'm so sad to hear of Bill's passing. He was a good friend and we shared a common bond in flying. I lost track of him when I went into the service. He was a special guy.

Bill was a friend of mine and it is still sad to think of his passing at such a young age. I first met Bill as his father was the minister of the church my family attended when we moved to Tyler in 1966, the first day before school started my sophmore year...
