Memorial services for Brenda Wintters Brunk, age 59, of Red Springs, are scheduled for 2 p.m. Monday, March 14, 2011, in the Caudle-Rutledge Funeral Home chapel, Lindale, with the Rev. Paul Porter officiating.

Mrs. Brunk was born Sept. 20, 1951, in Tyler, the daughter of Everett and Ruth (Harris) Wintters. She passed away Wednesday, March 9, 2011, at her residence in Red Springs. Mrs. Brunk grew up in Red Springs, moving back to Red Springs in 2000. She retired from Southwestern Bell in 2000 after over 30 years of service. Mrs. Brunk was a member of the Pioneers Club and Winona United Methodist Church.

She was preceded in death by her father, Everett Wintters, and sister, Diane Wintters Hardy.

Mrs. Brunk is survived by her mother, Ruth Wintters of Red Springs; son, Jason Brunk of Red Springs; daughter, Julie Cavazos and husband Matt of Anderson Air Force Base, Guam; granddaughters, Hannah and Greenly Cavazos of Anderson Air Force Base, Guam; and a brother, Marvin Wintters of Red Springs.
